Today we talked about the days of the week, and sang a song about the days of the week. It is a simple concept for us adults, but for kids, we have to keep singing the song to make sure they always remember and know which day of the week it is, so they can get used to knowing the days like we can! After we sang the song, we would write the words in our sketchbooks and draw a face of the teachers we had on those days! “who is your teacher on Monday?” “It’s Nikko!” “Who is your teacher on Wednesday?” “It’s Adrian!”.
Since it rained today, we set up an obstacle course and a trampoline so the students could get active with bouncing! “How many times can you jump and count!?” I challenged the students to bounce on the trampoline and count their jumps! They loved it!!

今日は曜日について学びました。大人とは違い、子どもにとって曜日を把握しておくことは難しいのです。それで、「月曜日の先生はだれかな？」「ニコ先生！」「水曜日は？」「エイドリアン先生！」というように、先生の顔をスケッチブックに描いて曜日と結びつけました。
