Today we did an art activity, making ties for our fathers for family day! Family Day is a holiday where we celebrate our fathers. What are other words for father? “Dad, papa, and father” are all good words to call our dads! For our art, we decorated a necktie, coloring it in various colors. Some made rainbows, and others decorated them in different creative ways! When we finished, we practiced saying the words “Happy family day! Thank you”, and we practiced handing them out, so we could give them to our fathers!

今日のアートの時間には、父の日のプレゼントを作りました。紙で作ったネクタイに色を塗ったりして、思い思いにネクタイを彩りました。作り終わったら「父の日おめでとう」と言ってお父さんに手渡す練習もしました。
