＜KIS横浜キャンパス臨時休園のお知らせ＞

Kitty International School 横浜キャンパスに勤務するスタッフが、新型コロナウイルスに感染していることが判明しました。
これを受け、当該施設は、当面の措置として1月19日（火曜日）まで休園とし、感染者の経過調査や、施設の消毒作業等を行います。
保健所の指導を受けながら感染拡大防止に努めます。（KIS横浜キャンパス以外のスクールは通常運営です。）

経過
当該スタッフの今月の最終勤務日は1月13日（水曜日）。その後、新型コロナウイルスの濃厚接触者となったことから、
1月15日(金曜日)無症状でPCR検査を受検したところ、1月17日（日曜日）に陽性が確認されました。

保健所による対応
本日1月18日(月曜日）、保健所が当該スタッフ勤務日等を確認し当該施設を調査した結果、下記の回答を得ました。
・保育利用者及び当該園スタッフは「濃厚接触者」に該当しない
・施設の消毒義務なし
・当該園は引き続き運営可能

当該園の対応
当面の措置として、1月20日(水曜日)午前まで休園とし、施設の消毒作業等を行います。
関わりのあったスタッフについては全員PCR検査を実施し、その他スタッフも健康観察を継続して行います。

1月20日（水曜日）午後のESLクラスより運営再開します。
（横浜キャンパス勤務スタッフのPCR検査陰性確認後に再開を予定しています。変更がある場合は別途ご連絡いたします。）
陽性反応があった当該スタッフに関しては、陰性確認が取れなおかつ1月17日（日曜日）から14日経過以降の日程で復帰を予定しています。最新の運営状況につきましては、ホームページやスクールへの電話等でご確認をお願い申し上げます。

新型コロナウイルス感染症に関連して、感染者、濃厚接触者、医療従事者等とその家族に対する誤解や偏見に基づく不当な差別やいじめ、SNS（ソーシャル・ネットワーク・サービス）での誹謗中傷等は許されることではありません。見えないウイルスへの不安から、特定の対象を嫌悪の対象としてしまうことで、不当な差別や偏見が起こります。不確かな情報に惑わされて人権侵害につながることのないよう、正確な情報（公共機関が提供する情報）に基づく冷静な行動をとるようお願いします。本件に関して、当該園、関係者及びその家族の人権尊重・個人情報保護に、特段のご理解とご配慮をお願いします。

Notice of temporary closure of KIS Center Minami Campus

A staff member working at the Kitty International School Center Minami Campus was found to be infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus.
In response to this, the facility will be closed until January 19th (Tuesday) as an immediate measure. The school will carry out follow-up surveys of any infected person/s and disinfect the facility.
Together with the public health center, we will work to prevent the spread of infection by checking the presence or absence of close contacts and observing the health of close contacts.

Progress:
The last working day for the staff member was Wednesday, January 13th. The staff had become a close contact person to someone who tested positive with COVID-19.
The staff member then took the PCR test asymptomatic on Friday, January 15th, and was confirmed to be positive with COVID-19 on Sunday, January 17th.

Correspondence by health center:
Today, January 18th (Monday), the health center investigated the facility and we have received the following answers.
・ Childcare users and the staff of the campus do not fall under the category of “close contacts”.
・ No obligation to disinfect facilities
・ The school campus can continue to operate

Correspondence of the school campus:
As an immediate measure, Center Minami Campus will be closed until January 20th AM (Wednesday ), and the facility will be disinfected.
All the staff involved will be subjected to PCR tests, and other staff will continue to observe their health.

Please consider:
Unfair discrimination and prejudice based on misunderstandings and prejudices against infected persons, close contacts, healthcare professionals, etc. and their families in connection with the new coronavirus infection.
Slandering on SNS (social network service) is not tolerated.
Anxiety about invisible viruses can lead to unfair discrimination and prejudice by targeting specific targets.
Please take calm actions based on accurate information (information provided by public institutions) so that uncertain information does not lead to human rights violations.
Regarding this matter, we ask for your special understanding and consideration for respecting the human rights and protecting personal information of the school, related parties and their families.
