Social Studies this month will focus on ‘My Birthday.’ First, we engaged in a discussion about birthday experiences and the things they can recall from their last birthday. Then, we examined the items typically found on a birthday mood board, such as birthday balloons, cake, candles, food, hats, and presents. It was wonderful to hear about everyone’s memories of their birthdays and what they would like to do for their next birthday.

今月のソーシャルスタディーは、自分の誕生日がテーマです。まず、自分の誕生日をどんな風に過ごしたか、前回の誕生日を思い出してみました。そうすると、風船やバースデーケーキ、プレゼントなどが出てきました。子ども達の、誕生日にまつわる思い出話はとっても素敵です。次の誕生日には、どんな風に祝ってもらえるか、楽しみですね。
