Today, we learned about W and X, along with the words ‘wet’ and ‘dry.’ Wet is the opposite of dry. I posed the questions, ‘When do we get wet?’ and ‘When do we get dry?’ We discussed, ‘We dry ourselves after we take a bath!’ Along with learning more about opposites, we also explored vocabulary words that start with W and use X, such as ‘washcloth,’ ‘wagon,’ ‘six,’ and ‘box.’
During outside time, we also watered the plants too, to show the students how to take care of gardening and nature! Each student got a turn to water the plants too!

今日はアルファベットのWとXについて勉強しました。Wはwet（濡れる）のWなので、反対語のdry（乾かす）と一緒に覚えました。また、Xで終わる単語をみんなで探しました。外遊びの時間には、みんなで育てている野菜に水やりをしました。子ども達は順番に水をやっていました。
